Until November 30, the price of a yearbook is $75.00. From December 1 through January 4, the price is $85.00. No yearbooks will be sold after January 4. To order, choose one of the following options:
To make sure we have pictures of every senior, we have scheduled portrait sittings throughout the summer and into October. Please note the information below to ensure you senior’s photo is included in the yearbook.
Prestige Portraits by LifeTouch is our official photographer. Our contract with them says we will only use senior portraits that are taken by Prestige. There is no cost to you to have these portraits taken. A sitting fee is refunded to you when you return your proofs. You are under no obligation to purchase any picture package.
Prestige will mail you one of the following scheduled sitting times. If you cannot make the appointment, please call them at 1-800-426-9533 to reschedule. You cannot have a photo taken without an appointment.
June 29-30: 9am-3pm
July 1: 9am-3pm
August 10-14: 9am-3pm
September 8-11, 14-16: 2pm-8pm
October 26-28: 2pm-8pm
We recommend that you have pictures taken in July or August, especially if you are interested in the environmental (outdoor) portrait. In September the weather is less predictable and there are fewer daylight hours. This also offers the opportunity to schedule retakes, if necessary, in the fall.
Prestige offers two types of sittings; a formal, traditional pose against a solid background or and environmental setting taken outdoors, with less traditional poses. You must choose one type of sitting. Whereas the senior section of the yearbook will only accept vertical poses from the waist up you may have horizontal poses taken for personal purchase. Although the pictures taken with hats, sunglasses or props will not be accepted, you may include those for pictures you wish to purchase.
After you select the photo you want to appear, notify Prestige. If you do not select a photo, Prestige will choose one for you.

How long does it take before I receive my proofs?
It usually takes 7-10 business days after your portrait session.
If I did not buy my senior photos, how do I view them?
They are in your proof packet. Each senior, regardless of whether you purchase photos or not, will receive hard copy proof portraits in the mail. There will also be instructions on how to set up your account online so you can view your images, at no additional cost.
How do I order my photos, and choose my photo for the yearbook, online?
In your proof packet, you'll find a User ID and Access Code (on a small piece of paper). You can call the LifeTouch customer service department (written inside of each page on the senior portrait price list catalog), send your proofs back with the yearbook pose label on the back of your selected image, or order online using your account.
Is there a fee for retakes?
If it is out of focus or the lighting is wrong, there is no charge. If you are not pleased with your smile or expression, there is a $10 retake fee.
How do I schedule a senior retake session?
You need to make an appointment by calling 1-800-426-9533. Each senior receives an appointment card with a specific date and time. You will continue to receive these cards until you show up and have your portrait taken. When you receive your appointment card, you can call Prestige to change the date or time.
If I am having a retake, do I need to return my photos to Prestige, or can I bring my proofs on retake day?
You should bring your original proofs from your senior portrait session with you on your retake date. Explain to the photographer what you did or did not like about the proofs, and describe what can be done to make them better. Underclassmen must return your entire package for a retake to be done.
How long does it take for freshmen to receive their proofs after their photos are taken?
Underclassmen do not receive proofs. You will receive a complete package as per the order you handed to the photographer on your picture day.
How can I submit my student's ad?
You can email your ad in jpeg format to shsyearbook@westport.k12.ct.us. You must submit your ad form and check to the yearbook office at the same time. You may also submit a CD in jpeg format.
What if my student's grandparents wish to sumbit an ad?
They must use the Special Sentiments area which does not include photos.
